It sounds logical. Even responsible.

Or better yet…

Numbers on a screen.

We saw this clearly during COVID-19.

Money didn’t “run out.”
It was created.
Printed.
Circulated.

At will.

That moment revealed something most people ignore:

👉 Money is a system. Not a resource.

It’s a tool we all agreed to use to exchange value.

But the mistake people make is this:

They start treating the tool… like the asset.

🧠 Money vs. Assets

Money by itself has no real value.

You can’t eat it.
You can’t live in it.
You can’t build with it.

👉 The asset is what money can BUY.

• Property

• Education

• Skills

• Businesses

• Opportunities

So on the path to a true wealth mindset, you have to shift your focus:

Stop counting money…
Start identifying assets.

🌱 The Most Overlooked Asset

Now here’s where it gets deeper.

Islam taught me something powerful about wealth:

👉 The greatest asset is people.

People carry:

• Knowledge

• Skills

• Opportunities

• Access to resources

And every person has a relationship with money.

So when you build relationships…

You’re not just building connections.

👉 You’re expanding your access to resources.

🤝 Relationships Build Abundance

Think about it.

Two people with very little money can come together and build opportunity.

• One has knowledge

• One has execution

• One has access

• One has vision

Together?

👉 That’s wealth.

This is why some people with very little money feel rich…

And some people with a lot of money feel empty.

Because wealth is not stored in dollars.

👉 It’s experienced through connection.

🔓 Breaking the Scarcity Mindset

Scarcity says:

• “There’s not enough”

• “I have to hold on tight”

• “If someone else wins, I lose”

But abundance says:

• “There is more than enough value”

• “Resources can be created”

• “Relationships multiply opportunity”

And once you understand that…

You stop competing.

And you start building.

👉 Stop focusing only on money.

Start asking:

• What assets am I building?

• What skills am I developing?

• What relationships am I nurturing?

• Who do I know—and who knows me?
